Things We Did: Barcelona


I love a challenge, and I must say, being a young tourist in Barcelona is truly a challenge. You want to do all of the cultural and important sites, you want to eat everything in sight, and you want to party long into the night, yet there are only so many hours in the day. One night, we met an Aussie geologist who we encountered again the next night. He remarks: “I haven’t slept since the last time I saw you girls” – that is Barcelona in a nutshell.

We didn’t come to Barcelona with a food agenda, and again, I am by no means a food critic. For whatever reason, once I started writing this post, I kept coming back to the topic of food so this is just a conglomeration of some of our hits and misses at the table.

Days 6 & 7: Barcelona



We had a fun and fast-paced few days in London, but by the time our flight rolled around, we were more than ready for some siesta and sunshine. Leg two of our trip began with a midday flight to Barcelona.
